The passwords to access the National Guard online GEOINT platform for three exercises planned in 2017 - Ardent Sentry, Vibrant Response, and Vital Archer - were uploaded in a presentation on a Sharepoint site, and indexed by Google.

ReplyDeleteIt is always fascinating-and a bit sobering-how easily sensitive information slips through the cracks of networked systems just through routine indexing. Finding quiet moments to process deep security oversights like this can be tough, which is why I usually step away from the screen for a bit to reset my mind. Lately, I've been playing Geometry Dash as my go-to puzzle game to unwind; there is something deeply satisfying and meditative about clearing rows and keeping the board from filling up after reading about complex digital footprints.
